WACA oval redevelopment nearing completion

https://www.adcoconstruct.com.au/case-study/waca-ground-improvement-project/

The WACA ground will soon open as 10,000-seat, multi-sport and community facility by November 2025.
Highlights of the redevelopment include a community resort-style pool, public health and fitness facility, high-performance cricket centre, state-of-the-art museum, café and event and function facilities.
Inclusion features of the project such as sensory rooms, all abilities playground and ‘changing places’ change-rooms will make the WACA Ground one of the most accessible community spaces and drive further engagement in WA Cricket’s Foundation Inclusion programs.

Glamorgan used to have an arrangement whereby a member visiting the WACA during a WA match could use the members facilities on production of their Glamorgan membership card.
No idea if anyone ever did that.

Looks better than the modern Sophia Gardens.

The WACA only ever had a maximum capacity of 24,000.
Now it will be reduced to 10,000 because Optus Stadium hosts test matches and one day/T20 matches.
