Visa to enter the UK from the USA

Come in the back door Bruce, it’s perfectly safe, there’s a ferry service operating. Some sailing experience would be beneficial though.
You will be escorted to a hotel of your choice, and you can stay as long as you like.
No passports or visa’s required.

I don’t understand the relevance? Of the 40 odd countries I’ve visited in my life, only six non-EU countries didn’t require a visa. And of these, I’d only consider re-visiting two. Nothing to do with where I live. (Although I have non-visa visiting rights within the EU.)

But would you visit such a regressive, women repressing country now? Visa or not.

You haven’t met Mrs Fox then Lincs…Afghanistan sound delightful…

I’ve been, once was enough, I saw its wonders including the Buddhist statues, stayed in the three main towns.

No need to revisit.

I put this meme in the wrong thread, but I guess we wouldn’t need visas, so I suppose it works!

Except it does not work. The option to purchase more than one of each country does not make sense. It shows free delivery - but how exactly do you deliver an entire country?
The only bit that makes sense is the implication that tech billionaires are enabling Trump. That makes sense as that is what is happening.
Which got me thinking. Tech billionaires and multi-millionaire CEO’s have been enabling Trump. Yet his primary rallying call is make America great again. Which, for many, means aiming to get back to the years where most Americans enjoyed a well paid job in manufacturing or similar. The work was good and the pay was good, so a high standard of living with good prospects. Get back to way things were 50 years ago.
But millionaire CEO’s don’t want that. They like the high profits from outsourcing suppliers to low cost countries. They like the massive rewards that these profits have given them. 50 years ago CEO pay was 30-40 times the workers salaries. Now it is 200-300 times average salary. The people who bankroll and support Trump have no intention of returning America and American workers back to how it was. So what does that mean about Trump & MAGA - and what does it say about ordinary people who voted for Trump?
Thanks for sharing that poor meme - it was rubbish but it made me think.

Well, I have been working out a lot lately, and my son and I have tomorrow free, which will keep the promise of fast delivery.

Billionaires didn’t enable Trump; 77,000,000 voters did.

Let’s face it you have to be a multimillionaire to run for President in the first place don’t you?

No Bruce, just somebody who can give the people what they want and need, and convince them to vote for you…77,000,000 people can’t be wrong… :009:

I think you’ve got yourself confused between “enable” (to make someone able to do something) and “voted” (cast a ballot or express a choice via mark on a paper). The millions who voted for Trump did not enable him to stand and campaign. The $277m donated by Musk enabled Trump to stand and campaign. Then at the election, after the campaigning, the voters voted. They thought that billionaires cared about them.

Here is the information I found, it might clarify the facts.

Forgive me and my misspelling your name thanks to autocorrect. I have since corrected it and will throw myself into internet jail for the infraction.

That’s wishful thinking. how many President’s have not been millionaires before they came to office?

I don’t know Bruce but I didn’t think it was a pre-requisite to become a president. I always see the good in people until they prove me wrong and I believe that presidents and PM’s really do think that they can run a country to the benefit of the people. And the people like their idea better than all the other contenders so they vote for them.
