I live in a block of flats. 10 units. Plus two other blocks of 10 units.
30 in total.
Each unit has an allocated carport. Someone parked a large 4x4 vehicle in unit’s 23 bay.
Received a message from the estate agent asking who ever owns the vehicle to remove it from bay 23.
I went and had a look at the vehicle. A small side window was broken, glass on the seat, the vehicle was unlocked, the central infotainment system was ripped out.
I reported my findings to the estate agent.
They notified the police who turned up the next day.
The owner was notified, he said the vehicle was stolen 3 weeks earlier.

If you haven`t got it,it might be a good idea to install CCTV.
Shame about the mans car being vandalised.

Alas, all too typical. Stolen cars often get parked in garages/parkades. Sad and kind of scary thing is that car thieves usually park within walking distance of where they live.

Vehicle theft and crime in on the increase. Most are stripped for general parts while others are stolen for specific parts. The high price of OEM parts is to blame, so it seems knicking is becoming more popular.
