Two police officers have been shot dead in Queensland’s Western Downs

Two police officers have been shot dead during a siege at a property in Queensland’s Western Downs.
The officers were attending the property as part of a missing persons report when they were ambushed by three shooters — two men and a woman — wearing camouflage.

The two surviving police officers were injured and taken to Chinchilla Hospital both were from Chinchilla police station.

The three alleged offenders were shot and killed by police late last night.

This is horrendous.
It’s hard to find adequate words.

My heart goes out the victims of this barbaric attack and their loved ones and colleagues.
