That word “temporarily” does not sit well with me. In my experience temporarily will become permanently after next year.

Sounds like a reason for voting labour.

They don’t tend to reverse these things though.

Rightly or wrongly, they tend to dish out more money though. Assuming money is the issue here, people can be bought.

Personally, I’ve never voted for a political party because I imagined I’d end up better off financially. But people do. And, in my twilight years, I might join them.

well I’m not sure those that voted brexit seriously expected to be better off. They had other fish to fry.
