My mother passed away 17 years ago next month and miss her dearly. My father died 13 years ago and the world is a better place without him.

I was closer to my Mom than my Dad; of course when she died, I was sad and heartbroken but, my Dad’s death was more shocking and totally unexpected so, his passing affected me more than her passing because we knew she was sick; but, with him; I had just seen him and he seemed fine.
