Did anybody watch the new series of ‘Time’ last night, starring David Tennant ?
What did you think ? Very violent but anything by Jimmy McGovern is alright with me

Another great BBC drama series. Watched the previous two series, with Jodie Whittaker and Sean Bean - both excellent.
I’m recording series 3 at the moment.

Having now finished all three episodes, i can honestly say, in my opinion, how grim and depressing this third series was compared to the previous two series.
The acting was superb, no problem with that at all - David Tennant as always, but also the young male actors, most of whom i’ve never seen before, were amazing.
There were no uplifting moments throughout the three episodes, until the very last 15 minutes of the final episode!
Violent and hard to watch at times, and a disturbing view of life in a young offenders institution.
