The worst injustice a despicable crime

Lay odds on an expensive enquiry coming to the same conclusions. Fujitsu hold most of the answers to questions why the system had numerous problems in design or operation.

Post office appear not to have had strong, reliable internal controls to immediately flag up irregularities.

Politicians have also asked company officials to participate in an evidence session in Parliament next week, with the chair of the Commons Business and Trade Select Committee, Liam Byrne MP, saying that it’s “vital that Fujitsu confess how they got it so wrong,” questioning how the company has been able to continue taking public sector contracts.

One billion each should be nothing then to compensate those who deserve it.

Handing back their CBE ( before it was stripped ) is not enough .

Folks had a clear cut drama, they are now expecting a clear cut resolution.

This is the tip of an iceberg. Think BBC are distancing themselves from this, now that it has blown apart.

But why would they want too ?

May I just say that I’ve only just watched this drama and what a brilliant piece of acting by all concerned. Quite a few well known faces particularly off the cobbles…
I wonder how much of this goes on in present day life perhaps in some very trusted establishments where nobody using it, actually knows how this tech stuff actually works.
I’ll be waiting for the next big revelation…
How come nobody went on a spending spree from the large amounts of money supposedly stolen? Surely it must have occurred to the investigators that nobody actually benefitted, in fact, they ended up out of pocket…So what happened to the money?

His brother Michael told the inquest: "The direction of his life took a turn for the worse at the age of four when our mother lost the post office and family home due to the Horizon scandal.

“This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a tumultuous journey for Bradley as our family underwent a significant upheaval."

Have we reached a point where we can confidently see that putting previously state owned and run (and essential) businesses into private hands does not deliver benefits? These businesses certainly deliver rewards to shareholders and to senior management. And they certainly deliver huge debt. But improved services? Can’t see it.
