âSit Down, Womanâ is the first vinyl pressed by the record label Weird Vintage Jukebox in 1942. The song talks about a man who wants to spend a night with his fellas instead of his wife.
âMy name is Joe Cringi and I hate my wife, so I could relate to this song very well,â said Joe Cringi in an interview for Playboy magazine.
Song received positive reviews by the critics, as they stated hatred for their wives, too. The vinyl record became a hit and sold over 100,000 copies in its first three days. Radio stations played it 15 times a day in March 1942.

Youâre always on the go
You never take a minute off

When youâre a millionaire
Imagine all the fun youâll have
In your 'ole rocking chair.
