The right to wear a Bikini in Australia

Modesty in all things!

There looks to be competitions now in how small a bikini can be. Might as well wear nothing with some of them.

1900 looked like a cheeky summer…
Way before my time.

1925 looks a little racy … that could be my grandmother.

Lots of things have changed since those days, and some not for the better… :009:

A great many when you think about it … I don’t know, perhaps I’m just getting old.

“Incredible” is probably a better word.

Feel free to correct me, but the origin of the “bikini” is from the Pacific island called, er, Bikini; whose female inhabitants wore coconut shells over their breasts. I’m sure you get the picture…

IIRC, this region was also where nuclear bombs were initially tested. God bless America.

While I’m at it, I came across the story of the hapless Japanese fella who was injured by the bombing of Hiroshima and escaped to Nagasaki to recuperate, only to receive a second “event”. He lived for many years more.

@Morticia, after a few quiet weeks away from the forum, you’ve gotta admit that was worth waiting for :grimacing:
