Can somebody answer me this please?
How come twice over the last few days, I have got to the end of the puzzle, everything fits perfectly, but there are 7 or 8 empty spaces to be filled but no more puzzle parts?
How can that be? Does it ever happen to anyone else?
They are probably hidden under the partially completed puzzle. Try dragging the completed part to one side. That should reveal the missing bits. Let us know whether that solves the problem, Mupsy.![]()

Thanks Plops, I’ll try again.
These puzzles take me ages, I haven’t even done the frame when you have finished it! ![]()
I do enjoy trying though, and it is very frustrating when I can’t complete it cos half the bits are missing. ![]()
Mr. Ploppy is quite correct. This happened to me at the start, got into quite a panic, then somehow (I must have clicked on some of the completed puzzle) my partially completed puzzle moved a bit to one side and lo and behold I found a missing piece which had been covered by part of my completed puzzle. I then realised that I had to be careful to make sure that all my unused pieces were visible. I was only caught out the once. Once bitten and all that !
Keep on having a go, Mups and you will be surprised how soon you get to be a bit faster. Yes I enjoy jigsaw puzzles. Have you noticed that you can change the number of pieces available - it seems that we are quite comfortable with 67 pieces as our standard, but you can pick any size to help you get a bit quicker. If you are bothered about trying to be quicker that is ! Good luck !!
Thanks very much for the advice, Gilly.
I’ll keep practicing.
Do you always build the frame first? I do.
Oh I always find all the edge pieces first cos that gives me an idea of other pieces that may fit in, particularly if there is a concentration of a particular colour or subject. Sometimes there is a concentration of one colour e.g. sky and sometimes the only way to sort that problem is by the shape of a piece to match it with the piece already fitted on the board. Those sort of pictures are a pain, but quite a challenge !!!
