The Fonz is 79

I was never a fan of the show, but have just noticed that Henry Winkler, The Fonz, from the late 1970’s is now 79.

He was born October 30th 1945.

And two leather jackets worn by Winkler when he played The Fonz have just fetched $87,500 & $75,000 at auction.

The show Happy Days did create the idiom “Jump the Shark” meaning it’s all got a bit ridiculous when Fonzie actually water skied over a shark.
I never actually watched it myself.

I would have emptied Fonzies office at 7.00am GMT

I remember back when the show was really popular, someone commenting at school about how “really old” he was (aged 29 at the time)

I thought you had posted wrong video till the end , lol low and behold .

I loved the Fonz and as you know he was a Fonz type character in Lords of Flatbush

Several spin offs from Happy days like Laverne and Shirley and Mork and Mindy as Mork originally appeared in Happy Days and yes I need a life but do must say do so enjoy the older shows .

I was a late comer to the show but I enjoyed it. It did get desperate toward the end but US shows are rarely taken off at their peak (a la Fawlty Towers) they tend to drag on into irrelevance.
