My understanding of physics is that it’s only the past stuff because we distinguish past future and present in our perception of reality.

A lot of it has to do with word of mouth passed down thru centuries of folk lore / Religions / memories.
Sure, there is a So-called science to dig up, enter tombs, take pictures of cave drawings.
Mostly robbing stuff from places. Find past DNA. It’s in the name of knowledge thus Intellect wins again.
and Immortals absorb it all. Thus, Intelligence is a win-win. Smarter with knowledge of imaginations.
Reports that say that something hasn’t happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don’t know we don’t know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tends to be the difficult ones.

But Cars really weren’t much back in 1955. DC 3’s were still flying to small rural airports and passing so low overhead in the County that they messed up the TV reception. Even Rockets / missiles didn’t work so well. Count on the 4ths fireworks they said. Did you hate the Black and White lace up shoes? The cuffed blue jeans are back in style again. Guys had bags of ice between their legs driving thru Arizona deserts. Buckle overshoes were the winter styles. 6-volt + grounded Material handling vehicles didn’t work all that well in Midwestern winter temps. Understanding Direct Current Voltage loss due to current thru Copper distances was efficient.
I think we maybe over thinking the universe, it might not be as complicated as we think it is.
