Both times this happened to me i knew immediately my purse had been stolen. One occasion travelling to work, and the other while shopping in the supermarket.
I remember that awful sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach when i realised both my debit and credit card was in the purse, along with approx fifty pounds in cash.
Has anyone tried air tags on anything? Wondering if they work.
I could not find my purse after doing the shopping, like a fool i had put it in the freezer with the veg which i spotted two days later, phew.
I also lost my car keys on a car boot sale,i had to get a taxi to take me home for the spare one,
22 miles there and back, then i had a phone call from the site to let me know they had been handed in.
I now pin them to my bag.
I’ve had a few panic moments misplacing my wallet, but thankfully, I’ve always found it eventually. The worst was when I left it at a coffee shop and realized it hours later. Luckily, I rushed back, and an honest person had turned it in. Now, I’m extra careful about keeping it in the same pocket or bag every time.
Hi Bertana
Great to see you on here.
I am a Yorkshireman with a heart condition.
Losing my wallet is dangerous.
Welcome to the forum Bertana.
Pretty bad feeling when our wallet/purse seems to disappear.
Welcome Bertana from the US of A! The wallet problem? I don’t wear one. I wear cargo pants and I keep just one card there.
