@Dextrous63 … shame but yes. It’s never to late to learn restraint and good sense.
You go first.
I think he’d much rather have you turn up Morty!
You can always invite me?..
Oops, I thought this was about dinner plates!..
Don’t be harsh on yourself Azz … I look a bit of a dog to be honest.
Hey. on that site I spotted a quite nice little stoneware mug which would take my ginger nuts lovely.

There are 14 people viewing it right now!
28 have been bought in the last 24 hours!
What’s not to like about that!
I’m off to Asda to find stuff with yellow stickers on them to feed you for when you all pop over. Bring your own plates and cutlery though.
I’ll post my bargain foodstuff on the new forum section.
I’m sure he won’t think you do Morty!
That’s a nice mug - just spotted this one that I think @pauline3 might like (to go with her pink room - I’m sure I remember her posting photos of a pink room once!)

Lovely. Does the poodle strip off when the mug has hot liquid in it?
Don’t think so - you’ll have to buy it and let us know!
Well, its either that book you’re still plugging, or the cup (£3.99 standard delivery). Can’t afford both.
Decisions, decisions!
What book is that Dex?
Ah that one - yeah get that instead!!
Its my birthday on 30th (this is actually true), so maybe I’ll treat myself. Think we used to have a book review section/thread round here somewhere, so I might even get to write one up or append yours.
It’s also available as an audio book, I think they do a free 30-day trial too: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Civilized-to-Death-Audiobook/1508297657
I’ll buy it. Have been reading a load of dross on my kindle unlimited, so it’s time I tried something a bit more interlekchoool.
Azz, lt’s a shame you couldn’t do the knife and fork screeching test on the stoneware plates before you bought them?
I think you should be ok though, as it seems ceramic plates are the worst…
I haven’t actually used them yet Art, but will do a quick test when I do
To be fair I don’t imagine many people drag and scrape a fork across a plate like that too much … they’re too busy scoffing what’s on it.
Of course, wooden chopsticks might be the answer.
