Are there any particular smells that remind you of a certain person or event ?
Deep Heat muscle rub always reminds me of my gran, she swore by it and I find it helps with aches and pains but has quite a strong smell so I only use it if I’m not going out !
Aye,Estee Lauder Youth Dew Perfume reminds Me of My late older Sister,who was also My best Friend…I always bought a bottle for Her Birthday,She loved it…I keep a bottle and give a wee scoot to remind Me of Her and the good times We once shared.
When I was very young my father was a farrier and shod all the farm horses of the neighbouring farms. I still remember the burning smell when he held the hot shoe against the horse’s hoof to get a proper fit.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and used to stand balanced on an old tree stump on one leg in my garden so I could peer over the top of the hedge and watch the cows coming home for milking. Every day, come rain or shine I loved to watch them.
Wintergreen ointment. My Dad used it a lot for his broken ankle.

Play doh!
I started school at the age of five in 1967 in Richmond upon Thames, hated it! Miss Collins dished out the Play doh…I can still smell it to this very day! 
My dad’s overalls when he worked a painter and decorator. I can still imagine the smell of them, and it represented him.
