In case you lost track of time. Lol
The shows were amazing. The first night, it was a spectacular Lion King show.
The second some famous dancers, so fast and agile, doing Latin dancing, and some famous opera stars.
The third night it was the winners of Italy has got talent.
It was too much to take photos.
Oh, I forgot. lol
I missed the safety stuff on the first day, so I was ordered to attend the following day by loudspeaker, all over the damn ship!!!
As passengers were from all different countries, it was boring listening to it all!
But I knew about blowing the whistle on the life jacket.
I burst into laughter when I heard a good blow on your hooter in some other language. lol
Genoa (Genova) is a port city and the capital of northwest Italyâs Liguria region. Itâs known for its central role in maritime trade over many centuries. In the old town stands the Romanesque Cathedral of San Lorenzo, with its black-and-white-striped facade and frescoed interior. Narrow lanes open onto monumental squares like Piazza de Ferrari, site of an iconic bronze fountain and Teatro Carlo Felice opera house.
Genoa was the birthplace of Christopher Columbus (1451), who embodied the active maritime tradition of the city. It is noted for its many examples of medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Gothic architecture. ⊠Genoa is linked with the major cities of Italy, France, and Switzerland by railway and highways.
The next day we docked in Genoa.
Fancy a quiet drink in The Candy Bar?
A look at the pool, then we left the ship to look around Genova.
Walked out of the port and saw this.
Back on board. Last evening.
I will do Rome tomorrow.
Hi Sweetie, nice to see your photos.
I canât believe they still havenât finished that church. I was there in 1989 and it was far less ornate, I have a photo in front of it. I wonder if they will finish it in our lifetime.
I doubt it.
These cruise ships are amazing. That is one thing i really like about cruising and that is what they have to offer in food -entertainment- shops- avoid the casino part but wow everything else is mind blowing. the food!!! you can eat all day and night, First cruise we went on I stuffed myself on the first day learnât not to do that now as there is always so much of it and so much choice.
Have to say I can easily see why cruising has taken off so much as a holiday choice. Beats hands down staying in a hotel all the time.
Been on Royal Caribbean line several times- P&O a couple of times- Princess line (linked with P&O). Prefer P&O so far, canât compare with a river cruise that would be unfair
