Sometimes Gmail goes wonky

Twice today logging in this message was displayed;

  1. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

It has happened before now as well.

Refreshing the page sees the issue rectified and my being logged in.
Anyone else?

Hi Bretrick, I was just on Gmail; and no problems at all. I just did a search for Gmail Error Message Code 400; and it says: A Gmail Error Code 400 (Bad Request) means Google’s servers cannot understand your request, usually due to malformed URLs, corrupted browser cookies, or interfering extensions.

I think I have received this message about 4 times over the previous 12 months.
Think I will do a clean-up and remove superfluous cookies.

I use a mail reader but it has not reported any problems logging in.

Hoping the OP tried updating their system.

Cleaned out the ridiculous number of cookies.

You can set your browser to do that automatically every time it is closed.

Also exceptions can be listed.
