If poison has reached its expiry date, is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous?

Many years ago, an American State, had to cancel
executions, because the British company who was
the supplier of chemical, that was injected into the
condemned person, wouldn’t sell it as it was out of
date and that they had stopped making it.
Alabama, I think.

When I was a mechanical engineer we had a dispenser of Borax alongside the Rosalex for getting stubborn oil stains off the hands Bret. I didn’t realise it was poisonous, here are some other uses for Borax…

Dosage is everything when it comes to poisons.
Many medicines are very good and safe to take at low dosages, take too much and you are dead.
I take Morphine every day for severe pain, it is in capsule form, slow release, absolutely brilliant for severe pain.
There are occasions when the capsule morphine cannot control the pain, this is dangerous.
When this happens it is called breakthrough pain and I have a bottle of liquid morphine to take.
I use a syringe to measure 5ml to spray into my mouth, perfectly safe, swigging the whole bottle down at once turns a medecine into a poison.
It slows the heart down so much that it stops working.

I hate stuff going out of date before it’s used. I blame the throwaway society we live in.
I regularly clear out the bathroom cabinet and will say to Mr M … get those laxatives used befoe they get out of date. It’s pure wanton wastage. Use them.

Borax mixed with sugar and water gets rid of ants as well.
Ants carry the mixture back to the nest, eventually eliminating the entire nest.
