Well done Carol, for trying to find out first the cost, and then walking away from ‘the deal’. You have your head screwed on correctly when dealing with companies and authorities, and I admire you for that.
She/they approached you first so I would say you were in the right to refuse payment. Let them try and invoice you! Hah, bring it on.
I found this form online. I will fill it in & get witnesses to sign it. I will attach one form to my copy of the will I keep at home & give the solicitors another copy to attach to my will that they keep there.
I am wondering if they could refuse to accept it & what would I do then?
Would the copy I attach at home be legal?
