This is Fremantle Port container yard.
All day long 40’ and 20’ sea containers are loaded and unloaded.
This video is of empty sea containers being off-loaded and stored, 7 high.
Watching this operation it is obvious the experience these operators have.
Millimeter accuracy is a prerequisite for this position.

Cor, I’d hate to read their accident book. You wouldn’t think they’d stack them that high would you.

They are heavy enough not to be unstable when stacked correctly.
3 1/2 tons - over 8,000lbs.
Would take a cyclone to move them. Cyclones never occur this far south.
Constant accidents would see the business closed down. Following procedures ensures accidents very rarely occur.
