Silly spelling mistakes a sign of things to come?

I’ve never had a sick note, but I though it was supposed to be filled in by a GP.

I did skive off work once or twice with “food poisoning”, just faked it over the phone. “The flu” was favourite excuse.

The only time we had an excuse for school was for snow in the winter of 1962. Where we lived was up in the hills above Kirriemuir.

I used to be good at spelling but as I get older I forget how to spell a lot of words. In particular diarrhoea, yes, I looked that up.
