Last lot in this phase…
Thanks Nicol. I get the emails alerts, but it depends when I take the dog out.
Thanks Nicol, hopefully I’ll be able to catch a few of those sightings.
Tonight’s (Wednesday) looks good at 10:19pm for about 6 minutes…
Next batch, you’ll have to weed out the unsocialable ones! Times are for Birmingham.
Thanks Nicol, I may get a chance to see some of those while on holiday in Devon
There is a good sighting tonight (Tuesday) at 11:41pm for about 6 minutes!
also a Partial Eclipse of the Moon peaking around 9:30pm I think
Two chances to see the ISS tonight (Thursday)
Not one but two! and at the same price…nothing…
First one lowish at 10:03pm for 3 minutes
second one higher at 11:39pm for 6 minutes! yes 6 minutes…
Go outside, look South, it will go sort of from West to East across the sky, bright white unblinking light
I wonder why that happens… twice within the hour so to speak.
Bonjour btw.
I think it takes them about 1.5 hours to do a full orbit
Bonjour!
Lots of chances to see the ISS tonight (Friday) for people that don’t sleep!
First one at the civilised time of 10:49pm for 6 mins
it is then back at…
00:26am for 6 minutes
02:03am for 6 minutes
03:40am for 4 minutes but this one is low…
Go outside, look South, it will go sort of from West to East across the sky, bright white unblinking light
Next batch of sightings, times are for Birmingham.
For more accurate times in your area go to…https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/
There is an app for Android phones called “ISS Detector Satellite” that’s free to download on Google Play.
It gives alerts when its overhead and a timer to when you will see it etc and uses the phones compass etc to position you the direction
Next lot, times are for Birmingham.
Some decent times there, Nicol … thanks!
Next lot of sightings, times are for Birmingham…
Thanks Nicol, very reasonable times too.
Just hoping for some decent weather soon to be able to get a good sighting.
Thank you Nicol.
Next lot, times are for Birmingham…
Next lot, times are for Birmingham. Unfortunately there’s no fooling the kids this year that it’s Santa and his sleigh as the Christmas ones are in the morning, although I suppose he could be going home…
