I have not been around much recently due to a total computer unrecoverable crash So at the moment working on a laptop temporary . Complete loss of all data. Ordered a new computer should be here in a couple of days

You could just change the HDD or SSD though (unless the computer is not compatible with WIN11)

New computer now only thing is my email address I can’t get back… The old computer is in the garage but so old even parts are different. like all new stuff this one doesn’t have a CD drive so got an extnl one on order that does cd /usb etc.So should be able to transfer all the cd discs. Also on order a new keyboard with fingerprint recognition…
I used to belong to a lot of USA photographic sites but no longer interested as they don’t use Panasonic equipment.
next is to try and get my old email addy back but can’t remember the code so may take some time. The new computer is blazingly fast gets up photos saved on SSD extrnl drive faster than blinking It has a
a 1tb ssd drive and the latest graphics card.

New stuff sounds good realspeed, my laptop is 9 years old on windows 10, the battery was failing so I had to decide to buy a new laptop with the latest win 11 on it or replace the battery in this old one.
I’ve replaced the battery and won’t have to spend the next few weeks figuring out how use new software.
I consider a computer is like a spanner (just a tool) I don’t have to get a spanner out the box and start messing with it, I just put it on a nut and get on with it.
I don’t seem to have the time or inclination to start buggering about with a computer, I just want to talk to my friends on the forum and do a couple of other jobs on it.
I liked life without a smartphone and computer other than my old desktop running Vista for doing all my invoices, tax, VAT and all my running stuff…When I was a runner and ran my own business…
Ms Archaic, that’s moi …is still on Win 7 and bought this laptop back in 2012 … I’m dreading it when it conks on me, my hardworking friend Toshiba.
