I’m not much of a fan of golf but Europe’s very convincing victory in the US Ryder cup deserves praise. Okay, as I type, not quite completed but there is no way US team can claw back to a win. I think the word is trounced.
Unfortunately the ungracious US fans appear to not be aware this is golf that they are watching. Their behaviour moved beyond merely excited and raucous - it was insulting, it was aiming to disrupt players, it was disgusting. Perhaps they were simply devastated that just after their president called Europe a bunch of losers … Europe showed that the US team are the losers. These are not fans of golf, in fact they are not adults and should have been removed. Worse, the team captain refused to criticise his fans behaviour.

It has happened before apparently.Brookline 1999
Hope the European team wins. They will not have half the wins the US has, if they. At least they are not giving up.
There must be one reason I have lost interest in PGA golf, etc.
I’m losing interest in Pro Football & even the Big 18 Geesh!
Its all about Money and Bla - Bla - Bla, constant nonstop mouth service.
Maybe Ai will tell jokes during its play - by - Play info serves!
Formula one has gone the same way also Zac.
Too many rules and too much politics involved.
Team orders usually decide the winner.
I’m surprised to hear that the Ryder Cup has attracted some controversy. I like watching golf (missed this though) and It’s one of those sports where I don’t normally support any country or player (although I normally go for the underdog), I just enjoy watching the top class players and skilled play.
We had a NASCAR Race here a couple of weeks ago,
didn’t even think of going or watching on TV.
The Traffic was thick passing the Track on the way to the city.
Maybe it’s the 1000-yard walk to the entrance I am avoiding.
$10 brews ?
I used to love ‘grass track racing’ and I did some work for a bloke who had a brilliant stock car and always did well at races. I think I’ll look it up and see if they still do races on the old track…
Couldn’t afford to go to a F1 meet though. It costs a fortune for a decent seat and you can’t get anywhere near Silverstone over the F1 weekend. It was a pain in the butt when I was a courier, had to go the long way round.
