She wrote such shows as The Syndicate, and Gaynor often featured in them.
Her talent will be greatly missed, IMO.

That is so sad - she was a very talented writer.
I think I have watched anything she was ever involved with and just seeing her name told me that I was in for some good viewing.
Very sad and no age at all really. Just been reading about her early life and how she had her first baby at 16 and overcame so many obstacles to be a successful playwright and actress.
I think I have too! All of them excellent and compelling viewing.
