We get to see the results on Thursday, on of these will be the winner
I hope we get to see the recipe for all of them and not just the winner. It was supposed to be a search for a pud that would become an old favourite, like Coronation chicken, I’d like to have a go at some of them but some are really OTT
So, in order that I like best
Four Nations pudding - Scottish berries, Yorkshire rhubarb, Welsh cakes and Irish butter and cream
Sounds quite easy to do and could become a favourite like Coronation Chicken
Rose Falooda cake - from Mumbai, has rose syrup, vermicelli, and sweet basil seeds
I think this one will win, I’d like to try a slice anyway
Swiss roll and Amaretti trifle- lemon posset based
Lemon, amaretti, trifle…….what’s not to love?
But I don’t know why Amaretti? I think it should have Brit/Commonwealth ingredients
Passion fruit and Lime frangipani Tart
Again, I bet it’s delish, but Passion fruit? I don’t get a Platinum Jubilee vibe
Jubilee Bundt Cake - Victoria sponge, shaped like a crown with Dubbonet jam
Nice for a party and the Dubbonet jam will be a hit. But a bit predictable and no one will faff around making a cake crown after the Jubilee is over
