69 was also the year Led Zeppelin released their second LP, my favourite in many ways, and I was totally hooked.

I remember Sugar, Sugar by the Archies. Although it was just released someone brought the song to our first class party as a floppy record. A little sensation. Don’t know how often it was played on that afternoon. We only had a few records in English. I was glad I understood what the title means…
