My next painting

They always have the same sad, disillusioned eyes.

You’ve caught his expressive eyes very well.

Thank you .
They are the most incredible eyes , they literally burn .
They come across the years with all their despair .
His last words were , I should have never have surrendered I should have fought till I was the last man standing .

…oh, and just one more thing :wink:

@Muddy ,. “Who is he”
HARBAL !! :+1::grin::grin::+1:

Done some more work on this .
Trying to get the sense of power of this old warrior .
Strange thing I painted the colours I thought best for the clothes and then have since discovered other tinted pictures of the same photo and all have picked the same colours .

Hi

Muddy, you have an amazing talent.

You deserve to be exhibited at the Royal Academy.

I am reserved in my praise of people, you I find awesome.

Amazingly realistic, Muddy!

Well done!

Swims thank you how kind you are .
There are many many people out there who are better than me .
Still I keep trying.

Thank you Mags
Now I have to do something with the background.
The old guy has an aura I am not sure how to portray it .

@Muddy, I know I joked about the clothing being like Columbo’s, but if you have a mind to, if you ever fancied doing a painting of Peter Falk, I reckon that’d be lovely.
