Hi everyone,
I’m posting on behalf of my daughter who’s currently doing her Master’s degree. She’s working on a project that explores how people aged 55 to 64 engage with entertainment — from cinema and television to gaming habits and everything in between.
She’s not selling anything, I promise!
There’s so much conversation out there about how young people watch content, but not nearly enough about our generation. What are we we skipping it all for a great book or a puzzle?
It’s a short, anonymous 15-minute survey and your answers will directly help her build a report that argues for more thoughtful, age-inclusive content in Film, TV, and Games. She’d be over the moon if you could take part — and if you know someone else aged 55–64, please pass it along to them too.
Hey, I was happy to help and provide a completed survey.
But, and I know a bit about such questionnaires, there were many poorly structured or framed questions in this survey. I tried to positively respond and provide accurate information - but it the survey needs decent editing.
Unfortunately I fall outside of the age range Molly (74) but it sounds like a good project and I wish her all the best with it. The results would be very interesting…
Thanks so much for filling it out, Lincoln, and for your honest feedback. I’ll be sure to pass this along to her. I know she’s still learning and refining things, so this kind of input will really help her improve the survey going forward.
Welcome to the site. There are many subjects with knowledgeable interaction. That you could find useful for her thesis.
Congratulations to your daughter for her initiative.
Q&A Done and dusted.
