Hello Everybody; my cousin did go into palliative care but, she’s doing better for now; so she’s out of the hospital, and will continue with her treatments; she had stopped for a bit.

Hello Everybody; I chatted with my cousin yesterday, asking her how she’s doing. She told me she’s not in too much pain, she’s eating well and gained back some weight which is really good. Then, she told me that she saw her Oncologist yesterday and he confirmed with her that she has 1 year to 1 and 1/2 years left (not more than that). She does have Stage 4 (incurable) and she’s having a hard time accepting it. Then, I asked her about her treatments; and she’s still doing them so, I told her; one day at a time. Please continue with your prayers; thank you :cry: :pray:

Hello Everybody; I found out last night that my cousin is not doing well after all. Her 70th birthday is this September but, her family is going to celebrate it next month; in case she doesn’t make it. Please Continue With Your Prayers; Thank You :cry: :broken_heart: :pray:

Hello Everybody; here’s the latest update on my cousin. I chatted with her on Thursday; on Facebook Messenger and she told me; that she’s in the process of obtaining medical assistance in dying because she doesn’t want to suffer later.

She saw her first doctor and 48 hours later; she saw another one. She already met with a social worker and everything is approved. All she has to do is decide on a date.

But it’s not right away because she’s not suffering too much, and she’s still in the right frame of mind.
