A blood transfusion helped to save my life! I had an ectopic pregnancy. My fallopian tube burst, and blood spilled out into my gut. Doc said that Iā€™d had only thirty minutes more of life if I had waited much longer than I did to go to him to find out why I had unexplained pain in my side. THANKYOU BLOOD DONERS! :heart:

Unfortunately my blood is so full of opiates it is dangerous.

Years ago I wanted to give blood, so went to Red Cross Day.
I have always had trouble with blood tests, as my veins are so small.
Well, me taking a table, them trying to insert the needle, thenā€¦waiting patiently for the draw to produce enough to get the bag 2/3 full so it is usableā€¦
Three people came and went on the table beside me, and me taking up spaceā€¦so I felt it was a public service for me NOT to donate blood and allow others to give three pints to my one. :innocent:It was my contribution :+1:
