I would have enjoyed those the most Ray

Moving on …
I then moved to Edinburgh for a couple of years:
Nicky Tams down the Royal Mile was a favourite haunt. I can’t remember their name, but a resident band played blues inc. fab Led Zep numbers.
Some folk club near Waverley Station was another hang out, where I saw a young Billy Connolly.
Glasgow: the Stones (Mick Taylor era) at the Apollo.
The Who, Alex Harvey at some outdoor gig.
Back to Edinburgh: The Usher Hall: Santana, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, Joan Armatrading, Baker Gurvitz Army, Eric Clapton, erm …

Here you go:
They’re a bit rough around the edges. lol
Love that album. Absolutely stunning song and one of my favorites off of it.
Hey DooD
Wow - very varied and a nice selection. Picked out a few that I would have loved to see myself AND your list appears incomplete! There’s more to come
When I checked YouTube I wasn’t really sure that was them because they looked a bit rough around the edges hence my comment that I saw nothing. I’ll listen to it - thanks for sharing
I’ll listen to it now - thanks Plankton:-)
I was able to access ‘Mezmorised’ - my kinda music:-)
There’s more, but next up… my move to London and some serious gigging.
Hey DooD I thought that what you had posted was the serious gigging
Yes to those - great stuff. I also feel that my concert days are numbered:-(
That’s when I saw them too
Just some of those I’ve been to.
Rush
AC/DC
Hawkwind (several times)
Dr. Feelgood
Wally
Yes
Caravan
Camel
Uriah Heep
Judas Priest
Rory Gallagher
Quite a few more that I can’t bring to mind. It’s me age you know
Hoping to see ELO and Pink Floyd ere I shuffle off this mortal coil.
Gave it a listen. A beautiful rendition:-)
I’ll have to look up some of the other bands. I probably have heard their songs though. Just needs reminding - thanks Judd
Yay … I was in the gods, seem to remember Mick hosing down the audience in the stalls with bubbles. This was advanced concert stunt. Fabulous.
Sympathy for the Devil had a big impact. Wooo
That’s quite respectable - wonder how they cope with The Great Gig in the Sky?
Yes, it was a great capture. I loved the swaying background singers as well
