Hello Everybody; I have been officially diagnosed on Tuesday October 22nd, that I am in the Menopause Stage of my life.
I empathise, I think I am going through the male menopause too, I have been fast forwarding past the sex scenes in Outlander.
It can be a difficult time but the Doctor can advise you if you suffer any extreme symptoms…A good diet low in Salt for a starters…
Drink lots of Water is always a good thing I found.
I suffered a lot of painful joints and was easy to blame the Menopause for everything that comes along…That is certainly not the way it is…
I was diagnosed with [Fibromyalgia](Fibromyalgia vs. rheumatoid arthritis: Similarities and differences whether that is what is was but it went on for years…It was not Rheumatoid Arthritis because the tests showed that as negative…
Make sure your Doc monitors your falling hormone levels so that you do not develop brittle bones aka osteoporosis. My wife was not monitored and now it’s too late as she developed painful osteoporosis and a bowed spine.
Who monitors the Docs?
From what I’ve seen from some Docs, I’d say the Dockers😉
The female hormone pills I’m on seem to have brought on some of the symptoms as women get.
That seems to be the same for me though it was an injection that suppresses testosterone. I am not going to have it again I can tell you
The pills are in addition to the injections, so maybe a double whammy. I think I’ll have to have a word with the Oncologist.
