It was probably back in 1967; I was woken up in the early hours by the house trembling slightly from a very mild earthquake.

Small boys, in the park, jumpers for goal posts…
20-a-side teams, playing all afternoon, until we got called in for tea, whoever had the most goals won.

I remember sitting on a sofa, surrounded by cushions & watching my Mum & another person playing cards on a card table against the sofa. Told my Mum about the memory when I was older & she said, “How do you remember that, you were only about a year old.” She had never told me either, but added, we were fire watching, must have been around 1943.
