I like Mendelssohn’s “Songs Without Words.” I learned a few of them.
This one is called, “Sweet Remembrance.”

“Fur Elise” is mostly melancholy. Beethoven was interested in a girl named “Elise” & he wrote the song for her. Translated, it means For Elise. It didn’t work. She didn’t like him. :smiley:.
