I weigh myself every morning. I have to lose a stone. I’m 8lbs in.

I have no accomplishments

You know yourself when you have accomplished something, no need to measure it :grin:

I need to measure things;

I should recognize a circuit diagram, the old man was an expert with them, I wasn’t receptive with the knowledge, such is life.

Well, I did that for over fifty years.

The old man repaired Tele’s for free, well before Radio Rentals, he was a fool.

I believe everyone does. You may not take pride in the little things. Everything counts, waking up is a win, getting back home safe is also a win.

Are/Were you an architect or some sort of engineer?

An electrical engineer in the field of industrial power electronics. Places like steel mills, power stations, paper mills etc.

My visceral fat from 5 is down to 4.

Justturned50, I never given this statement much thought, but I will now. And I want to thank you for posting this.

I need to build some shelves for the garage, so that will be an accomplishment when they’re completed. I have a few other projects in the works, and each one is an accomplishment when completed.

It’s nice being retired. I can do what I want, when I want… Or I can do nothing at all, although that would be kind of boring.

Idlewild, when your done building shelves in your garage, it indeed will be quite an accomplishment. I remember when my husband did this, but he kept purchasing more items he thought he could use, and soon found he doesn’t have enough shelves/cabinets to store items. :thinking: I guess we need a bigger garage.

It’s not just about “Space”, its also about “Time” :smile:

Yes, indeed.

A good thread JT50 and although it’s not the reply that you probably intended…But I’ve just completed measuring every metre of my property and creating a scale drawing of land and buildings. For no particular reason…

There are also drawings for surrounding property and electrical wiring.
I’m retired now, but once an engineer…Always an engineer.
