Roses are still dormant at the mo, so were they last year’s blooms?
Loveley colour.
I thought they were Camellias - my neighbour has a lovely Camellia in bloom right now, the same colour pink as Speedy’s magnificent shrub.
Ah, you could be right, Boot. I cant see the leaves very clearly.
That would make more sense as to why they are in flower now.

An iris from my garden. No filters at all - I shot this very early in the morning when the sun was still low in the sky, with 100mm macro lens at f22 to catch all the starbursts on the dewdrops.

I did add the date I took that photo ,like today for example. yes Camellias not roses

It is gorgeous, isn’t it? They have signs everywhere telling people not to walk among them, but some idiots still do, sadly.
