Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur Game Tonight?

I’ve got it on my TV, streaming through Youtube, started at 6pm. Only problem is, they got that bloody Gary Lineker involved. Does’nt he get enough money from the Beeb!? Still, just glad to be able to see the game. :-)

I’m doing YouTube/TV, too …

I don’t believe it!
I was watching the match on YouTube on my iPad. The screen was very small and l couldn’t enlarge it.
It was half-time so l turned my television on to see what was on. I then noticed, l can watch YouTube via my new SkyQ box and it was displaying BT Sport and the match.
Great, now l can continue watching it on the large television screen!

What’s the picture quality like, is it Crisp?

I’m so glad my husband doesn’t like football

Why don’t they give them all a ball each? That would save all that running about chasing the one ball. Anyway, right result tonight.

I got quite a bit of buffering early on in the first half. Not sure whether my broadband feed was up to it. Anyway, the picture improved in the second half, unfortunately the match did’nt, very mediocre fare. Just glad I did’nt have to pay for it. Spurs were poor, Harry Kane, Mr Invisible. The better team won, just about!:cry::cry:

John, My picture was great but the match was televised in film form, if you know what l mean?

The match wasn’t very exciting, for a final! I suppose, l expected the play to be like in the last World Cup but Harry Kane didn’t feature that much in this game.

I had the same experience … :expressionless:

No idea what “film form” is … :confused2:

Dull, dull, dull … :069:

Still, the match gave us a reason to try out various “video reception modes” …

Omah, I don’t know how to explain how this sort of camera work is described.
When you normally watch a televised live football match, the picture looks normal, like any other outside live sporting event that is televised.
The match last night had a different look, it looked like it had been filmed. Maybe, it was the type of cameras used that gave it a cinema quality look?

I’m not sure if you will still understand what l mean? l wonder if anyone else knows what l mean and can explain better?

Is there a television cameraman in the house?

Perhaps there’s a setting on your new box - either the box itself or the YouTube feed … :?:

Live Rugby matches don’t have the ‘filmed’ look. Could it be because l was watching it via YouTube?

Yes, Art, not quite the same quality is it!? I don’t know which was worse, the picture reception, or the crap football itself!!:-(:-(:frowning:

Possibly, YouTube deals with all sorts of formats - we need a TV/Video specialist …

I’m wondering whether you were watching in 4K …

With 4K, highlights and shadows can have more detail, and colors can generally be more vibrant and/or more accurate, meaning that color content will look more impressive and life-like … :!:

It’s easy to forget some poor people don’t have BT sports and Sky.

There but for the grace of God…

Gravitas, You need to change your profile name to ‘Gloater’!:lol:

I have basic Sky but not BT Sports. You have to pay big money for BT Sports and l watched it for free! Sucker!:lol:

Omah, l don’t know if it’s 4G?
It can’t be that anyway, as l had noticed other programmes shown in that filmy way before l got SkyQ.

I’ve just checked my TV (a Panasonic) and it’s got a video mode of “Cinema”, alongside other choices like, “Eco” and “Dynamic” - you might want to check your TV settings …
