For months now, since I bought my camcorder, I have been venturing out into the Aussie bush with the hope of coming across a large mob of Kangaroos.
When that does happen, I will video them and share with all you good folks.
Today I boarded the train bound for the new station at Ellenbrook.
22km from Morley. Short trip of less than 15 minutes.
The train travels through undeveloped land and what do I espy?
On one side of the track was a mob of an estimated 150? Kangaroos. Grazing and lounging the day away.
On the other side of the track were another 100? Kangaroos. Grazing and lounging the day away.
No chance to video them because by the time I had seen them, we were already past the point of me getting out my camera as the train was travelling at 130kph, 80 mph.
In one weeks time I will be holidaying in Mandurah for 2 weeks.
One of my objectives is to travel to Dryandra Woodlands. One of the few remaining places where the endangered Numbat resides.
If I come across a mob of Kangaroos, that will be a bonus.
