Please don’t - Britain has enough problems without causing another pile-up on the M25.

Its that busy on the M25 I don’t think anyone would notice boot…

I saw geezers slashing, openly on the hard shoulder of the M25, that is mind boggling when you think about common decency.

Penny Mordaunt and Jeremy Hunt did well but glaringly obvious was the absence of the Prime Minister the clue is in the title “Prime” meaning first. Surely, the meeting she attended could have been rescheduled to even later in the day; it was after all with a member of her own with “camp” Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 Committee of backbench Tory MPs. I believe she is now being “titled” “the lady who did not turn up” Those who voted her in need to be named and shamed I wonder what they think now. If the Queen had not died when she did and then the funeral national mourning it makes you wonder how deep a hole she could have dug.

Here’s a summary of the original mini-budget and the status of measures:

Hi

We are controlled by the International Money Markets in the same way that each of us has a Credit Rating which how much we borrow, our spending limit, and the amount of interest we pay.

That is how the system works,

The IMF is a lender of last resort, and they do put strict conditions on the money they lend.

It is not an International Conspiracy, it is merely others deciding not to lend us any more money.

It is when they tell us who should be running the country and how to arrange its finances Swim.
When Liz Truss took over the PM’ship she must have thought that as a leader of the country she would have the power to do things her way. All the people who voted her in also thought that, how wrong they were. Boris went against the in crowd and was dismissed due to the constant harassment by the media, instigated by persons unknown who are the real leaders of the global one world government.

For someone who has been treading the boards of power for so long, and will thus have been aware of the existence of the “real” global powers that you allude to, she must have been particularly stupid to think she could take them on and have it her own way.

She was probably aware of the fact that you only get one chance to make a first impression.

Healey went cap in hand back in 76, which ultimately let the tories in when Labour went on a round of tax increases and spending cuts leading to strikes where rubbish wasn’t collected, dead weren’t buried, the tories will do best to remember those times.

Hi

Life is very simple, we need to borrow money.

We cannot tell people to lend to us, we can only ask and they can say No.

They’ll always say yes, but it will cost .

Does Truss and the tories think we’re dumb?

The public wanted higher tax on the greedy 1 to 10% (who squander 90% of the world’s wealth) so what Truss and the tories do is LOWER taxes for the highest earners - so that there will be an outcry and the ‘dumb public’ will be happy with them simply being reverted :icon_rolleyes:

Until someone comes up with an alternative to the pyramid model of economics, this will always be the way things pan out.

Yes Dex, the eternal growth stuff, we need to keep the myth going for a few more months.

If everyone was “equal”, then there would be no pyramid at all. Trussonomics seemed to pay homage to the pyramid, like some Aztec temple, and she felt that the steeper the sides, the quicker money would cascade down from top to bottom. She can’t quite countenance the concept of having shallower inclines which would make things much fairer all round.

The lack of a tangible industrial base is problematic, so, attracting service based investors highlights the inequalities in society, it is a difficult conundrum.

It is indeed. Made harder by the priests who place the greedy on a pedestal. We all want to do well, but not for the price of making others miserable.

Some have done well by default, by accident, or, was it an accident waiting to happen?
