Well I’m 56 and I still struggle to behave in a grown up way all the time the body ages but the mind clings on like a limpet
Rachel darlin’ - my surgeons are gradually replacing me with Titanium implants - have both hips and both knees replaced and in due time may need to have ankle joints done too.
My lungs are not very clever - badly scarred from Pulmonary Emboli, and to top it all - was diagnosed last October as being type 2 Diabetic.n - Good 'ere innit???
The titanium implants sound good … hmmmm not keen on the rest of it

Is it worth carrying on after 50? What a daft question. Have you seen some of the gorgeous men and women who are well over 50 even into their sixties and are indeed carrying on caring about their looks and their careers. My career finished due to ill health, when I was 57 I was devastated. We retired to the Caribbean and a bad case of boredom set in. Now I have taken a hobby further and I am happy to say that it looks like I have a very successful business on my hands.
Life my love is precious every damned minute of it all I can remind you is that you are a long time dead.
Taking Spitfires answer a little further you are as young as you feel, so make sure you are feeling someone young!!!
