Blue Origin launches huge rocket carrying twin NASA spacecraft to Mars

rocket 2

Blue Origin has successfully launched its huge rocket with a pair of NASA spacecraft destined for Mars.

The 98-metre New Glenn blasted into the afternoon sky from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, sending twin Mars orbiters on a journey to the red planet.

More to come.

If it is a choice between that and “Tower Hamlets”, I might consider it.

So … we’re in more danger from aliens than asteroids or a space junk then.

It might be the aliens that are stopping the asteroids or space junk hitting us :icon_wink:

Got a sign on the door here “NO SPACE JUNK”

Won’t that confuse them when they realise that humans live on JUNK FOOD

Mars ain’t the kind of place to raise your kids…
In fact it’s cold as hell!
And there’s no one there to raise them if you did…

So a high of 20 degrees C…and a low of -153 C You would have more chance draining the Atlantic with an eggcup than getting me to go to Mars… :009:
Why on earth would anyone want to go there? I’m all for exploration…But come on!
