My dear old Lenovo Legend Desktop is starting to show signs of its age, the day before yesterday the Bluetooth packed it in and the ethernet speed has always been annoyingly slower than the wifi speed.
I will probably get another Lenovo Desktop but not a gaming computer - I don’t know why I got a gaming computer last time.
It is quite hard to get a desktop that accepts HDDs they are mostly set up for SSDs and the cloud but I have my eye on a Lenovo Thinkstation P3 Tower (or a P2). We shall see.
Don’t need a laptop I already have three (two in use) one is relatively new bought for travelling
I just replaced mine at the beginning of this year, and I bought a new one for my son as well. When things wear out and stop working properly, we simply have to replace them. As for me I like Dell.
Lenovo builds them to your specs (in fact HP and MSI do too)
Basically it is a box with a motherboard you choose the chip, the memory and just about everything else.
I want
Ultra 7 chip
DVD drive/burner (only $20)
1TB SSD
NVIDa Graphics card
high speed network card
I already have the HDDs I have a 2 TB and a 4TB in this machine and a 8TB in a drawer ready to go. Not sure how I will use them yet but the 2Tb might be retired
