No need to sling it in the basket … click one-click and your kindle book comes straight down to your reader within seconds.
They’re quick on too … as I recently had an e-mail congratulating me on how old my early model Kindle is (2010 and still going strong)) and to warn me that I shan’t be able to do a straight download in the future soon but can still access a purchase from my cloud/library.

Three years on and I’m going to update this … call it ongoing research.
First … I still love the ability to download a Kindle book with one-click rather than have to sling it in the basket and haul it to the till.
But … I discovered something sneaky.
If you connect to the Amazon store from your Kindle, rather than say, a laptop, and you have a peep at the books … take care … when swiping not to hit the ‘Buy Now’ by mistake as it sends it straight down as a purchase even though you are not logged into your account.
