Well, there I am…I’ve built my nice, new shiny forum for lonely people. Now, I remember, back 15 years ago, promoting a forum was actually very easy. Things, from what I can gather, are now extremely different and more difficult.
How can I get news of my new forum out there?
How is it usually done?
I’m clueless when it comes to this part, to be truthful!

Wow…I didn’t know it was necessarily a bad thing. To be honest, I don’t think I’m any longer mentally strong enough to run a forum, now, having built it - that was quite a few months ago. I think the stress might be bad for me, but I just…don’t know. If the post is going to cause trouble in some way, I’d be happy to remove it. I used to be really passionate about the forum, but I can’t get interested in it like I used to be…not any more. No harm was intended.

I wasn’t asking could I promote it, here. I just wondered if anybody knew how the promoting thing was done, in more modern times. 15-20 years ago, it all seemed so easy. Now, it’s like it’s so complicated, I just can’t get my head around it. Age and depression, I suppose.
