How often should you change your bed sheets?

A new survey has found almost half of single men said they wash their bed sheets every four months.

This has got to be a wind up. Perhaps the BBC asked two people and one say every four months for a laugh, that’s half, that’s a survey.

Even in America:

A survey of men conducted by the mattress company Ergoflex found that nearly half - 49 percent - only wash their sheets only four times a year and rarely changed the pillowcases.

This study had to do with germs and stressed the importance of washing the place we lay our head at the end of the day.

Women did fare better with 44 percent of respondents saying they wash their sheets once a week.

I belive it men are basically dirty beggars who would wallow in their own muck were it not for the civilising and cleanliness effect of women .

Ladies use the Washing Machine too often, push the utility bill up, and destroy the environment.

love it!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

As I type my bedding is on the line, when it is dry it will go straight back on the bed for another week.

I change mine every week and I iron them too before putting them back on the bed…terrible waste of time I suppose as they only get all creased again when slept in…I love the feel of fresh ironed sheets though if I were really rich and could afford the staff I would have fresh sheets every day…OK bad for the environment so maybe every 2nd day :slight_smile:

Hmmm … when I was a single young man, I was always prepared, hoping to get lucky with a civilised young woman.

Took clothes, sheets 'n all, to the launderette for a service wash.

Wont be long before laundry is done like this again.
