hmmm… I may object to that - but it depends on who was taking up the rest of the bedspace! 
I know people who let their pet dogs and cats take up most of the bed at night.
When I’m staying with my Sister, it is usually her two cats who jump on the bed and push me to one edge - and I lay there as still as possible, not daring to move in case I disturb them!
