Just a wee one for the misses.

Sounds perfect, like a royal household
I can see this diagram is missing male duvet-stealing positions. Or is that illustrated by the increasingly darker green on the boy side?

When you talk about a “Queen Size” Bed, what dimensions are you talking about?
I believe U.K. and US Queen sizes are different - but I do not know what Australians class as Queen Size.
In the U.K., a Queen Size bed is 4 foot wide - which is a “small double size” - larger than a UK 3 foot single bed but smaller than a U.K. double 4 ft 6 inch bed.
I have a Double Bed, which is bigger than a Queen size, but it is much smaller than a King Size bed of 5 foot wide.
Australian bed sizes -Strange that they are different to UK sizes
When I lived at home in the UK (until I was 19) I had a horse hair mattress made during the war obviously with the intention of saving matterials. It was about 100mm (4") shorter than the bed, I slept with my feet in the gap.
Don’t ask me about bed sizes. But I do know here in the UK we have a Three Quarters. I’ve never heard the term Small Double, but I guess they are pretty much the same thing.
Gosh! Never have had the opportunity to see a bed with this set up.
You don’t suppose I could do a sleepover if I promise to pay close attention to all of the features you should explain to me? I’ll even sleep on the floor with the snorers.
Oh, and a bottle of wine for my host.
Awww Supergal. Brill idea.
I will float it to Jethro.

Bedtime Story. “A picture speaks a Thousand words”
There’s not one thing about that picture that says comfortable.
with the light out and asleep does bed size matter? more concerning is if the partner is snoring
That’s what lead to separate rooms. We still meet up frequently though.
king size, but my part is queen size
@Surfermom - hmmm… I may object to that - but it depends on who was taking up the rest of the bedspace!
I know people who let their pet dogs and cats take up most of the bed at night.
When I’m staying with my Sister, it is usually her two cats who jump on the bed and push me to one edge - and I lay there as still as possible, not daring to move in case I disturb them!
