Is ‘he’ still around ? I seem to recall talking about El Nino some 15 years ago, I thought he was long gone 
Yes, he came back this year forcing the winds to go out on the Atlantic Ocean, therefore keeping the hurricane and severe/tropical storms from coming into Florida and the Southern coast of the US.
Ah now I understand, so three cheers for El Nino then
El Nino and his sister La Nina alternate. This was an El Nino year as Tondi said.
Morning all -here we moan quite a bit about the weather but when all things are weighed up we get off pretty lightly compared to other parts of the world
